Study 069's record could also come from gloves boxed in advance: measured on the same axis, both give results that are always opposite. So one side turns its magnet. At each angle between the two sides, many pairs are measured and their agreement is counted. The pair traces a smooth curve, −cos(a − b). One way of fixing the answers in advance, a single arrow in each box, traces a straight zigzag instead. Four settings combine into one score, S. Every table of answers written in advance stays within |S| ≤ 2. The pair reaches 2√2, about 2.83. Read alone, either side is still 50/50, so nothing can be sent this way.

Each study takes one equation and lets the computed result move.
